Many, many years ago, my now deceased ex-mother-in-law (God bless her) always told me about the importance of good kitchen shears..poultry shears. The best kitchens are ones with good shears.
How right she was.
The pair she gave me has long since been gone and the need for them also long gone, and then forgotten.
But one day, while doing my usual Amazon-ing, and one thing leading to another, I came across this item, and saw the reviews, and suddenly I realized how much I really needed a GREAT pair of shears - and for all NEW reasons!
I buy chicken leg quarters for my dog but want to cut them; now have a garden and want to cut my greens and herbs; and want to be able to cut the romaine and other greens into smaller pieces for salads quickly.
I LOVE these shears - and they do everything I need perfectly! They cut right through the chicken like nuthin' and make salad making so much more fun.
So, now I want to have a green pair for outside things, and a red pair for household cutting and will keep the black for the kitchen.

This will make the perfect gift for college kids, newlyweds and also for the older folks whose hands could use a break - for everyone! Because they wouldn't probably think to get a pair for themselves, probably wouldn't think they would need a pair, but once they have them, will wonder how and why they have been so long without them!
Oh, and those doggone 'clam shell' plastic items from our store bought goods - cuts through them like no tomorrow.

These are really excellent and you'll be so glad you got them! But definitely buy more than one!

I didn't buy these willingly, my partner had them and somehow my dog grabbed the 2 LARGEST ones and carried them out through the doggie door to the backyard and destroyed them. I ordered them to replace the damaged ones. That said, if you press the center of the lid to open and close as instructed, seals are both easy to open and easy to close. Also stay airtight. Reminds me that plasticware that isn't cheap, ... isn't cheap. Good stuff and worth the money.

I originally got to know Timbuk2 through my ex. She had worked for a messenger company and had one of the older designs. I decided to purchase one for myself when I started going to school full time. I commute via public transportation, and the little canvas bag I normally use wasn't going to be enough to carry my school supplies and work gear plus a purse. I wanted a sturdy bag that would allow me to ditch my purse and would be comfortable enough for walking around town and carrying on the bus. I used the Timbuk2 website to pick a bag that would be the right size for my laptop. I don't carry my computer around every day, but I want to be comfortable when I do.

The Timbuk2 Commute 2.0 in medium was the correct size. It has more than enough pockets and compartments to carry all of my "purse" stuff and my school work. When the bag arrived, I was worried it was going to be too big for me to carry around comfortably on a daily basis. It turns out that the bag is just fine if not a tad on the larger side. I can carry two large notebooks, my textbooks, and a few other items in the main compartment. That still leaves room for my laptop (in the special laptop zipped area) and my other supplies. It can be a bit cumbersome on a crowded bus, but pretty much any bag can get in the way. The handle on the top is helpful for maneuvering and for grabbing the bag quickly. The fabric is definitely durable, and I am fairly certain it will last a while.

I'm going to have to get one (or two) of the add-ons for the strap. My cell phone does fit in the interior pocket, but that isn't particularly useful if I want to listen to music on it. My biggest concern is that the bag doesn't seem very secure from people who want to grab your stuff. The way the flap sits, it would be easy for someone to stick their hand in the side and pull things out of the pockets. If I end up taking the bag on a trip, I will be sure to stash my wallet somewhere else. The other issue is that the bag can be a bit off-balanced. I'm getting better at adjusting it, and I think it has something to do with the way the bag is constructed.

Overall, the Timbuk2 Commute 2.0 in medium is a good bag all around. I may have to downgrade to a smaller bag when I'm out of school and don't have as much to carry. For the meantime, it definitely meets my needs.

The medium size was big enough for my 13 or 15" laptop and for a full-sized SLR and lens. I use a neoprene sleeve for my Mac Book Air 13" laptop, for added protection, and it fits into the laptop section. Going through the security line at the airport is much easier with the fold-out section.
Very much impressed with the design and workmanship. Only reservation is about the noise the Velcro closure makes in a quiet room.

No matter how hard I searched online, including on Flickr, I could not find any review or note that stated if the Small fit the Macbook Pro. The Timbuk2 website says it does but most review stated the Medium just fit it so I decided to try for myself as I wanted to get the smallest size possible. (I hate oversized bags). It fits perfectly! Its a little snug at first but after 2 days it seems to have relaxed a little and I am very happy with the fit and overall size compared to the medium which I also tried.

My biggest concern is that the bag doesn't seem very secure from people who want to grab your stuff. The way the flap sits, it would be easy for someone to stick their hand in the side and pull things out of the pockets. If I end up taking the bag on a trip, I will be sure to stash my wallet somewhere else. The other issue is that the bag can be a bit off-balanced. I'm getting better at adjusting it, and I think it has something to do with the way the bag is constructed.

Overall, the Timbuk2 Commute 2.0 in medium is a good bag all around. I may have to downgrade to a smaller bag when I'm out of school and don't have as much to carry. For the meantime, it definitely meets my needs.

The medium size was big enough for my 13 or 15" laptop and for a full-sized SLR and lens. I use a neoprene sleeve for my Mac Book Air 13" laptop, for added protection, and it fits into the laptop section. Going through the security line at the airport is much easier with the fold-out section.
Very much impressed with the design and workmanship. Only reservation is about the noise the Velcro closure makes in a quiet room.

No matter how hard I searched online, including on Flickr, I could not find any review or note that stated if the Small fit the Macbook Pro. The Timbuk2 website says it does but most review stated the Medium just fit it so I decided to try for myself as I wanted to get the smallest size possible. (I hate oversized bags). It fits perfectly! Its a little snug at first but after 2 days it seems to have relaxed a little and I am very happy with the fit and overall size compared to the medium which I also tried.

When I went to pick up the package, it was huge. So, I was a little taken back. But, when I opened it, I got so excited! I bought this because being 4 months post partum, I was ready to start walking and losing the weight. I did tons of research between this one, Phil & Ted's strollers, Mutsy, etc etc. I am SO happy I bought this one. We live where there are some rough roads so my biggest concern was getting a stroller that "glided". This one is AMAZING. I have my son facing me, he passes out in it and DOESN'T wake up from his nap. With my little Graco stroller, every rock we hit he would wake up. I feel like I could hit a boulder in this and he wouldn't budge. I love the bassinet feature that came with it. He isn't too thrilled about that, but it is neat to have. I used the rain tarp today and it was perfect. I love how the sunshade covers more than half the stroller so no rain, wind etc. can get in on my son. Anyway, I have to get going but I LOVE this stroller. Happy strolling to all who get it!!!!

We owned a few Peg Perego strollers, carseats and high chairs and the skate is by far the best one ever. I give it a 5 star for all the bells and whistles, baby loves it, very comfy. The Bassinet is roomy the 2010-2011 models have no difference but the fabrics, other than that they are both awesome. The wheels glide with ease, very easy to push around, once you own a skate you will never want to look at another one. I will buy another one in a heart beat and $699 is an awesome price, compared to the Bugaboo overpriced and they mislead you with what it comes with.. You have to purchase all the accessories seperately, by the time you buy everything you have spent over $1500 for nothing and its ugly. The Skate is well made, very sturdy and the handle bars are awesome. I am a tall person and I have no problem with the height. Can be adjust to go up and down. The seat that it comes with is very sturdy and heavy duty, the fabric is not hot hot nor will it make the baby sweaty, well mine doesnt sweat she is very comfy in it, and the 5 point harness is a major upgrade. The last reviewer was right, should have come with skate tray and bassinet for the price. Overall the skate gets a 5 star!!! Best investment ever.

Also came with adapters for the carseat which is a plus.

We love our skate. As long as my baby is content and comfy I will spend any amount of money for the upcoming skate.

Just ordered the 2nd jumper seat...

Go buy the skate.. you will not be disappointed

The stroller clearly prints along the side of it "Made In Italy" (with the HUGE price tag to match), but then when you look on the tag in the back, it says Made In China. I emailed the company regarding this discrepancy, and this is what actually transpired:

"Dear Peg Pereggo,
I am wondering why the side of the Aria stroller says Made in Italy but on the tag of the back of the stroller it says, Made in China? That seems very deceptive to me....Can I please get a quote from you about where your strollers are manufactured? Thank you."

Thank you for your inquiry. All Aria models are designed in Italy, however for several years they were actually assembled in China.

I am assuming this is true for all of their strollers, including this on.e Basically Peg Pereggo is lying to consumers by putting Made in Italy on their strollers. The design of the stroller may have originated in Italy but they are made in China. And why the company is called Peg Pereggo USA when the stroller is neither manufactured nor designed in the USA is beyond me. Another deception. Buyer beware!!!

This was purchased through my account by a friend who who plays "Santa" the whole month of December for all the small towns around him, and has for many years. This is his review:
I was looking for a wig, beard and mustache to replace the professional ones that I have been wearing for quite some time. The mustache in the picture on this site looks much thicker and fuller than what it actually is. If you are not a professional wig stylist, or have had lots of practice with styling, good luck! The backing shows very clearly through the mustache. They have a no return policy, so if it is not right, even if you haven't worn it, too bad, you are stuck with it. So if you want to look like the Santa the kids are expecting, this isn't the set that you want. Very, very poor customer service at company. Look elsewhere!

This is a great looking wig and beard set. I particularly like the separate mustache, it makes for a very realistic looking setup. You attach the mustache with spirit gum and the mesh disappears. I also trimmed the mesh a little to make it even more invisible. You can fluff up the beard and mustache to make the whole look more convincing. I haven't found a better beard set anywhere.

The pros: Light matte fabric with a nice drape thanks to the modal content, comfortable style, practical for traveling, true to size (a 10-12, I got Medium; because I'm petite, the sleeves are full length on me - otherwise bracelet length), easy care. The cons: Overpriced. Too lightweight to provide warmth in winter (some say the lighter colors are a bit transparent). After some months of wear and laundering, the fabric pills and develops small beads. That said, I would buy again at a sale price.

They described this as a heavy hose. Definitely not heavy duty. I would describe it as medium duty. I've seen worse, but we had MUCH better hoses before. I would not have purchased them if I had seen them in person. Unfortunately for us our local stores were all sold out and we needed them in a hurry. They were shipped fast and arrived quickly.

I have a Splash above ground pool and every couple of years the hoses need to be replaced. I don't know why it only gets 120 degrees here...lol. Any way finding good filter hose is almost impossible in the middle of the desert. I bought some from Leslie's and the stuff is so cheap and it would barely slip on my fittings with a lot of effort and silicone. I knew it wasn't going to last. Well I gambled and bought this and wow! Slipped right on and seems pretty durable. We will see. It's only been on 3 days but I tell you what it is a hundred times better than Leslie's cheap junk! Oh by the way, if you order a 12' length it is on 12' piece not in cut off sections like Leslie's. I really should give this hose a 5 star but have only had it a few days but I like it so much I am going to order a 6' length for the discharge. I am running a 1.5 hp motor. Any way if any of you folks are fed up with junk I think you will like it.
